Locally sourced North Yorkshire limestone, predominantly grey in colour and sized from 20mm down to dust. Commonly used as a blinding on top of a larger Hardcore depending on ground conditions. After levelling the 20mm Hardcore it will need compacting in order to finish off with block paving, gravel or flags. This is the top of the range Hardcore and is used for motorways/highways, its also ideal for many uses like driveways, paths, under concrete bases and building levels up. It is not advised putting direct on to wet/clay/ very soft ground, a larger hardcore would be advised.
